Ch Fox Valley Eye Spy “Riot”

Where does the time go? Seems like yesterday when I loaded up baby Riot and headed out east to Montgomery County for the big terrier show weekend. In reality that was about 7 years ago. We came home with a very competitive 5 pt major awarded by terrier specialist Desmond Murphy. Since Riot is pretty much the product of every terrier we have ever bred or owned, it took awhile to incorporate him into my breeding program. Last year it was decided to use Riot in a mating to Ch Fox Valley Tally Ho owned by Marcia and Thomas Turner. The result was 3 beautiful puppies! One pup Ch Fox Valley Twist & Shout “Fidget” attended her first Montgomery at 6 months and 2 days of age. We came home with 9 pts & 2 majors! Bred ever so lightly, his kids are looking spectacular! Riot is PLL Normal, Cerf Clear and Baer normal hearing.

Ch Fox Valley By Design "Gretchen"

Gretchen is a product of pretty much every terrier we have bred or owned. She won a 5 pt major at Columbia Terrier Association of Maryland in April 2009. Which not only attracted the best of the best, but also a designated PRTAA Specialty show. Thank you terrier fancier judge, Mrs. Carole A. Beattie!

Ch Fox Valley Ready to Rumble
Readyhats2013.jpg

New for 2013. This girl is everything her name says she is! Always on the go and doesn't miss a beat. Ready rocked Montgomery weekend, winning Best of Winners from the Bred by Exhibitor class, 3 of the days. This young beauty is the product of Ch Fox Valley Causin A Commotion "Coz" out of BISS Ch Fox Valley Twist & Shout "Fidget." Special thanks to Cynthia Levario and Shawn Fuller for letting me use Coz. As the saying goes, it takes a village.

Ch Fox Valley Devil In Disguise “Presley"

Presleyonthemove.jpg

I am pleased to announce the "Presley" partnership with breed enthusiast, Celie Florence. We are both looking forward to working together to promote and produce top quality Parsons, who not only excel in the show ring, but are also mirror images of the breed standard for type, soundness, and temperament. This gal is hot! Beautiful mover with a great silly temperament. She is sired by ROMO producing Ch Fox Valley Sticks & Stones. Presley ended up #4 Breed & #5 All Breed, for 2013. She will retire from the show ring after Westminster 2014 and bred shortly after. Puppy inquires welcome.

Ch Fox Valley Twist & Shout “Fidget”

FidgetMCKC2010.jpg

Fidget attended her first dog show Montgomery weekend at 6 months and 2 days of age. We came home with 9 pts and two majors! We pretty much rested from shows after Montgomery and decided to head back out 8 months later to Purina Farms for the PRTAA Specialty. Fidget won Best of Breed from the classes, finished her AKC Championship and went on to win a very competitive Terrier group. We are still celebrating this win! Thank you judge Lydia Coleman Hutchinson. Fidget is PLL Clear by parentage, Cerf & Baer tested normal. A spring 2012 litter is planned for Fidget. We are really looking forward to putting such great breed traits; coat, movement, type & temperament into a breeding plan.

Ch Fox Valley Viper

Viper is now deceased. We miss this little guy! He never caused me any problems and was such a joy to live with. Thank you buddy, for all that you helped me achieve. His contribution to the Parson gene pool is untouched. Sire to 24 AKC Conformation Champions, including BISS BIS Ch Fox Valley Frolic “Fuzz.”

Ch Eastlake Beacon of Fox Valley

Beaconcloseup.jpeg

Beacon is currently retired from breeding/showing and is living his retirement with a local family who just adore and dote over him. He enjoys his daily walks in the forest preserve but most of all, he loves the one on one attention he receives. Beacon has had a tremendous impact on my breeding program and through his downline offspring; I continue to enjoy the success I have today.

I currently have frozen Beacon semen available for the serious breed enthusiast. PLL Normal, Baer Normal.

Stoney currently holds 24 NAFA Flyball titles and has sired 21 AKC Conformation Champions. Stoney's daughter, Ch Fox Valley Devil In Disguise "Presley," will continue on in our breeding program, where Stoney left off.

Frolic appears at Westminster Dog Show, Madison Square Garden, 2001.

Until recently (2013), Fuzz’s show ring record (female Parson), remained unbeaten. With only 2 years of campaigning, she held the record for 11 years. She holds 4 All Breed Best in Shows, 31 Group wins and the youngest Parson to ever win the breed at a Parson Russell Terrier National Specialty, which she did at 11 months of age. #1 Breed and All Breed 2001 & 2002 and the only Parson to ever make the cut in the competitive group ring at Westminster.

Fuzz currently resides in Mackinac Island with her loving owners Dan & Amelia Musser. She certainly deserves her pampered lifestyle and enjoys greeting the Island guests with her typical terrier spirit.

Ch Fox Valley Venus ROMO

venus1.jpg

Venus is a ROMX producing dam and a favorite in our pack! She has all of the wonderful qualities a Parson Russell Terrier is noted for. Best of Breed winner Great Western Terrier Show 06/01. No words can cover what Venus has contributed to the "Fox Valley" heritage. Dam to nine AKC Champion offspring that were not only worthy of finishing their Championships, but did so under fierce competition and in record breaking time. The Venus x Sticks & Stones litter produced an exceptional litter of five. Four of the offspring are AKC Champions with multiple Group placements. How's that for consistency! Youth Champion Fox Valley Vision Quest was sent to Germany as a youngster to join Christiane Lindenberg-Beste and her famous Rednock kennel. Vision Quest has had a major impact improving the European Parson Russell Terrier.

Ch Fox Valley Here’s Lucy

Lucy-1.jpg

When Katie & David approached me about breeding to Viper, I was so excited about the possibility of acquiring a female puppy from the litter, to continue on with “Viper’s” legacy. He was 12 yrs. old when the litter was whelped. Lucy has a great temperament and a pleasure to live with. She can get fired up or chill, whatever we ask of her. She started and finished her AKC Championship in short order. Her quality stands out heads above the rest. Lucy is now retired from breeding. She produced an exceptional son, BISS Ch Fox Valley Bustin Loose. Buster is owned and loved by Sherry Frerichs.
